What is otoplasty?

Ear surgery, commonly called otoplasty, is the correction of shape, size and position of the earlobes in order to match the size of the head.

Ear surgery in adults can be very variable since it will depend on what you want to change:

- Reducing the size
- Close the protruding ears
- Shrink the lobes
- Shrink the shell
- Remove deformities

You have prominent or protruding ears.
You have a forward-facing ear tip.
You have ears in which there is neither the outer curve nor the natural folds. In these cases, Dr Fabiano will evaluate each case individually and the possible solutions.
